Hi Aspirant,

COMEDK PGET is a Post Graduate Medical and Dental Entrance Exam conducted by COMEDK.Students  must secure minimum qualifying percentile as specified by National Board of Examinations

Through COMEDK PG medical admission,eligible candidates will be granted admission to  Doctor of Medicine /Masters of Surgery  and PG Diploma seats offered in 44 medical colleges across the state.

In order to take admission in Karnataka medical/dental colleges, aspirants need to fill COMEDK PGET application form, in online mode. On the basis of NEET PG scores and rank, the counselling authority will prepare and release COMEDK PG medical merit list.

As a part of counselling COMEDK will organise three rounds of seat allotment of COMEDK PG medical 2021 including the mop-up round. During the counselling, aspirants have to select their preferences of colleges and courses.

Hope this helps

hello aspirant,

With reference to your above said query, I would like to tell you that COMEDK PGET is the entrance based examination offering seats in Medical, engineering and architecture. So, if you want to apply for general medicines through Comedk, the steps/procedure are as follows :

  1. Visit the official website comedk.org.
  2. Click on, “Click here to Login/Register for Engineering Application” under the Important Links section.
  3. Register and login.
  4. Fill the application form, and pay the application fee.

And if you want to take admission in Karnataka then for admission to Karnataka MBBS 2021, it is compulsory for the candidates to qualify in the NEET entrance exam . Candidates with Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12th with a minimum of 50 percent marks are eligible to apply for admission to Karnataka MBBS/BDS state colleges.

Karnataka has the highest number of PG medical seats ( 5379 ) across the country with 1328 belonging to Government institutes and 4051 seats at Private institutions. The state offers 3353 MD seats, 1607 MS seats, 176 MCH, 201 DM and 42 Diploma seats in total. So, I think it wouldn't be a much problem.

Further, you can checkl the neet college predictor tool to get more info about the colleges in karnataka :

Also, you can check the rank predictor tool to predict your ranks ;

I hope that this will help.
