i wanted to ask..i had a cataract surgery when i was 5 years old so right now i have a multifocal lens in my right eye while my right is 6/6 without any issues so am i eligible for state police and crpf/bsf/capf
Hello,
Your eligibility for State Police, CRPF, BSF, and CAPF depends on their medical standards. Here’s a general assessment:
-
State Police – Vision requirements vary by state. Many allow corrected vision if one eye is 6/6 and the other meets minimum standards. Check your state’s specific guidelines.
-
CRPF/BSF/CAPF – As per medical standards, distant vision should be 6/6 or 6/9 in one eye and 6/9 or 6/12 in the other. Corrected vision with surgery is often disqualified.
-
Multifocal Lens Issue – Artificial lens implantation may be a disqualification in paramilitary forces.
Recommendation – Check official recruitment notifications or undergo a pre-medical consultation.
Hope it helps !
