i wanted to know if i score good marks in every subjects in class 10 except maths and just get passing marks in it. will i be able to get 50% aggregate?
Hi
Yes, you can get 50% in aggregate in your 10th board examination even if you just pass in your maths examination.
For example,
Let's say out of 100 marks in maths you get just 33 marks and pass it and in Science you get 80 marks out of 100, in social science you get 70 marks out of 100,in English you get 85 marks out of 100 in Hindi you get 90 marks out of 100.
Then your aggregate percentage
= marks obtained/total marks x 100
= (33+80+70+86+90)/ 500 x 100
= 358/500 x100
= 71.6 % i. e more than 50%.
So you can definitely get more than 50% even if you just pass in maths depending upon how much marks you have got in the rest of the subjects
Follow the below for your 10th board examination preparation:-
*First of all go well through your board textbooks and don't ignore them as most of the questions in board examination are directly based on them, you can take the help of reference books to understand the difficult topics and have better understanding but major focus should be on them.
* after completing each chapter go through the exercises questions in your textbooks
*make a routine and religiously follow it, it will help you to avoid wastage of time and study in a systematic manner
*Make short notes of important concepts and formulas for each chapter
*Go through previous 10 year board examination question papers as concepts are often repeated in board exam so it will be of great help in your preparation
*Once you are done with your complete board examination syllabus go through at least 3-5 mock test papers in each subject
