Hello Megha,
First of all, JNU does not offer many UG courses. It is predominantly a PG university.
The only undergraduation course that is offered in JNU is BA in foreign languages and that's in School of Languages. These languages include Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, German, French, Latin, Russian, Persian, Korean, and more. To get admission in JNU for this course, one needs to appear for entrance exam conducted by JNU itself.
Recently in 2018, JNU has established school of engineering which offers two 5-year integrated course, admission for which is done on the basis of marks/rank secured in JEE Main through JOSAA counselling.
And you want to apply for mass communication in JNU.
Speaking of which, there is no course on mass communication that is offered in JNU. I think you mean to apply for mass communication in Indian Institute of Mass communication (IIMC) which is a sovereign body that is affiliated to JNU. It is because of this reason, one cdo not see mass communication in the E-prospectus of JNU that is availiable in the official JNU website. In order to take admission in IIMC,
The only other course that has anything to do with mass communication in JNU is a part-time course in Journalism(Urdu).
I hope this helps!
