Every year AKTU (APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) conducts various papers under the name of UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination), for admission to various courses to the colleges affiliated to AKTU Lucknow.
MCA (Masters of Computer Applications) is one such course, for which as per UPSEE 2019 information brochure, students aspiring to get admission must appear for Paper 6.
Using paper 6 students can take admission into 3 programs, namely:

Date & Timing of examination: 21st April 2019, 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM
The test is aimed at evaluating the verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, logical & abstract reasoning and knowledge of current affairs. The Syllabus of the exam is as follows:
Section A (English Language): Grammar, vocabulary, uncommon words, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, relationship between words & phrases and comprehension of passages.
Section B (Numerical Aptitude): Numerical calculation, arithmetic, simple algebra, geometry and trigonometry, Interpretation of graphs, charts and tables.
Section C (Thinking and Decision Making): Creative thinking, unfamiliar relationships, verbal reasoning, finding patterns trends and Assessment of figures & diagrams.
Section D (General Awareness): Knowledge of current affairs and other issues related to trade, industry, economy, sports, culture and science.
For better understanding of what kind of questions comes into paper, please go through previous year papers of UPSEE to get a more clear cut idea.
Ideally, your class 10 th level mathematics and english will provide a good base for Section A and B, for Section C you have to solve previous year papers for a more clear cut idea, and for section D, daily reading of newspaper would be good enough.
