I was a cbse regular candidate in class 12 in 2020.But I was absent in board exm .So I gave board exm in 2021 as private candidate in 6 subjects.I passed board exm but failed in physics .Will I fill compartment form or improvement form for giving board exm in 2022 in physics?

Hello Tanmoy,

Hope you are doing good.

So basically , improvement exam is given when you want to improve your marks or increase your score in the subjects you think is quite low.

Candidates are eligible for giving improvement examination only when they have passed in all the subjects . Improvement examination is only for your score increment or improvement.

So , you have to give compartment for physics in 2022 first, and then if you still have a low score you can appear for improvement.

First you have to successfully clear your physics compartment because a student should pass all the subjects in order to be eligible for giving improvement exam.

and very important point, is that pass certificate is awarded only after the original exam, and not in improvement examination.

I hope I'm clear to you, if you have any more doubts please confront.

Best wishes ahead.

sir one youtuber told me that for me no compartment form or improvement form will be open .becz cbse give improvement only after succeeding year of giving board exm.Since I was a candidate of 2020.so my improvement exm was in 2021 which I had given but failed in physics. Also my compartment form will not open becz I have passed exm ...can u tell me if anyone failed in additional subject then how can he pass in additional subject ? becz in my marksheet physics is in additional subject and there is RT written.

Tanmoy Sen According to what I got after research, if u had failed in additional and passed your main subject then surely you are not eligible to write compartment and you have to apply next year as private candidate.
Another point is that If you passed in 5 subject and failed in one. According to CBSE rule and regulations if you passed in any five subject and failed in one that's means you're passed.
