Hello there,

If you were previously enrolled by your school as a candidate for 12th standard examination and has failed to appear for the same, you can re-appear to the exam on the next academic year.  In such case, you will be treated as a Regular student meanwhile your school will make necessary arrangements for you to attend the examination during the upcoming academic year.

Hope that helps and all the best for your board exam, Thanks.
