Hello,
You are born on 20th July 2004, and you will attain 21 years as on 20th July 2025, and as per age wise you can appear for UPSC CSE 2025,
Why not 2024, the reason being even if you graduate by 2024, or remain in the final year, as on 1st August 2024 you will only be 20 years 12 days, and you fail to meet age criteria of 21 years, hence you can appear for UPSC 2025,
The eligibility criteria for UPSC is as follows:
Attained 21 years as on 1st August of the appearing year,
Passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized University, final year students too can apply provisionally ,that is they attain the required educational qualifications within the prescribed time period as mentioned by the official or authority regarding this,
the upper age limit is 32 years, relaxation in terms of age criteria is offered to reserved categories.
