I was born in 16th July 1988 can I eglibale for upsc 2023 obc

Hi Aspirant!

According to the eligibility criteria for writing UPSC examination, candidate must be of age 21 years as on 1st August of the year of appearing for UPSC examination i. e as on 1st August 2023 for UPSC 2023.

So, as you mentioned that you are born in July 1988, you are eligible , but if you are born in July 1998, then it again makes you eligible to write the UPSC 2023.

Also, UPSC exam has age limit, meaning the candidates having age greater than 32 cannot appear for the exam (general) and for OBC it is 35 years, so in your case of 1988 (OBC), you are eligible.
