hi rahul ,

To be frank, it really depends on your preference and your orientation towards a particular subject. Some take HR, Marketing as a combination with finance cause they want to dabble in some of those or can switch based on placement availability. Some take IT as a specialization subject as most of us are placed in a IT. IT seems like a good choice from the aspect that no matter what job you do you will still be operating Software. So in case you get into the IT firms, your understand over the IT subjects give you a easy entry into the world of an SME/Domain Expert for a software product or as a business analyst who can understand the clients requirement and get the team to tweak the software
