I was not good at maths in 10th standard .I took applied maths as an optional subject in 11th Commerce. will it affect my 11th standard?

Since it's an optional subject that's why it will not effect your academic performance. If you score better in other main subjects then only that percentage will matter and not of the optional subject.
However taking maths as an subject will give you advantage in the future when you apply for different courses and government exams.

But ma'am it is my 5th subject as optional subject.Then also ,it will not affect my performance in anyway?

ohh... I thought it's your 6th subject.
So, if you apply to colleges where best of four is applicable then there's no effect. If tge college requirement is best of all subjects then it may reduce your overall percentage.
So just practice in mathematics.
