hey,

see you will be asked about what you have done in those 2 years during the placement. if you can answer properly that will not be a problem to achieve the job offer.  also if you have learned any new cutting edge technology or program you can mention about this. also if you have any project idea or trying to make you can also tell them about this.

No matter about the education gap you are having.It matters only the performance of you during the placements.if you have all the qualities to be placed in the company and if you have the better skills to help the company the you will definitely be hired.
