i was student of architecture assistantship (diploma),can i apply nata entrance exam 2019
Hi Ajeet,
As per the new guidelines a lot of changes have been introduced by the exam conducting authority including 2 sessions of the exam in April and July subsequently.
Coming to your eligibility, NATA has announced that candidates studying diploma courses will no longer be applicable to sit for the exam. The MHRD has mandated that candidates need to pass 10+2 exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks in each subject as well as in the aggregate.
However, the Council of Architecture (COA) has written to the MHRD requesting it to revise its guidelines regarding diploma andidates as this adversely affects their careers. But the judgement is still under consideration. Therefore, as and when the details come out, you will be notified about the same.
But in the meanwhile, kindly go through the following link very carefully to better understand the NATA eligibility. I hope this will be helpful for you and I wish you all the best.
