Hello Jyothi,
BCA itself is not sufficient. Although there is huge demand for people who are IT professionals, but in order to compete with B.Tech graduates, you should probably get a M.Sc or MCA degree to increase your chances.
But if you are confident enough or think you have relevant skills, then you may give certain tests and approove certifications that will help you boost up your job prospects and resume while applying. Passing Mental ability as well as technical exams such as CCNA, AMCAT, TCS Ninja, and other exams will help you get into comapnies at a good post.
If you are interested in Networking go for CISCO certifications, as it will help you get recruited at the post of security analyst, or networking administrator.
If you want to get into Google, Microsoft, etc, excel in Languages such as C, JAVA, PYTHON, C++ and have some good projects, then apply for off-campus placements through the websites of these companies, and schedule an interview for the respective post. Against all vacancies they mention required skills, try acquiring those.
Hope this Helps
