Hi.
If tou have already deposited the tuition fees and wish to withdraw it, VIT has its own policy to process it. After the confirmation of your seat and allotment of your room, they will display it on their website.
They divide this process in certain periods.
Last year, it was in the following structure-
1.For Not Eligible Candidate who has either failed or got less than 60% in PCM/PCB-The entire academic fee after deducting Rs.1,000 may be refunded.
2.For withdraw request received before the commencement of the programme (Orientation/Class whichever is earlier)-The entire academic fee after deducting the counselling processing fee of Rs.12,000 (including Service Tax) may be refunded.
3.For withdraw request received within 25 days from the commencement of the programme (Orientation/Class whichever is earlier)-The entire academic fee after deducting 10% may be refunded (90%).
4.For withdraw request received after 25 days and within 40 days from the commencement of the programme (Orientation/Class whichever is earlier)-The entire academic fee after deducting 20% may be refunded (80%)
5.For withdraw request received after 40 days from the commencement of the programme (Orientation/Class whichever is earlier)-No refund of any academic fees except Caution Deposit.
