ACCA stands for the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants, which is a global body that provides students with a ‘Certified Chartered Accountant’ certification.
ACCA duration depends on your level of education. For example, if you are a 12th graduate, the course is for 3 years, a commerce graduate studies for 2 to 2.5 years, IPCC (both groups) for 2 years, B.Com, and 1-year for IPCC and CA graduates. The ACCA eligibility criteria is the same across all the top ACCA colleges.
To be able to receive the ACCA qualification, one should be at least 18 years old and have a minimum qualification of 10+2 with an aggregate of 65% in Mathematics or Accounts as well as English, and a minimum of at least 50% in all other chosen subjects.
Students who are studying for their graduation in Commerce or business related streams like BBA, B.com (//B.com) are also eligible for the ACCA course and they can pursue ACCA along with their graduation.
