Dear Annu, Time is very precious in our life don't be depressed about your failure because failure always gives an unforgettable lesson which really helps in your future life for sure. I suggest you don't waste one more year in jee preparation because you said you are not able to clear this exam in this attempt so for next year very less change you will get 70-80% marks (might be possible) but less probability, if you just clear exam you will get some colleges which you easily get without wasting this one year in jee...I suggest you take admission in good private colleges because I am also pursuing my B.Tech degree from Private college and you get always better opportunities in private colleges like LPU, CU, Amity VIT, SRM etc

Hello, No you should not drop this year as you need to strat from scratch again. Also you have dropped one year so competition has increased and now if you will take drop again then that will be hard to score well. Better you do well in your college, take a good private organization and get a better Placement. This will work for you.
This is the time when you need ask yourself what you really wanna do. If Think you can crack the jee exam next year then you should take gap.
Hope this will help you.
Good luck for future.
