Dear Bipin, are you talking about Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course when you mentioned AME? It is a technical training course that gets you an 'Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License'. The course is for 3 years and the minimum eligibility is 10+2. Though it is similar to that of a degree in terms of duration and semesters, you get a license after completion of the course and not a degree. For Civils, the minimum eligibility critrmeria is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. So unfortunately, after AME, you cannot appear for UPSC.
