There's not a lot of effect that a board has on performance of VITEEE. But yes CBSE students have clearly an edge over the stidenst of other boards especially because the questions are formed basically from the NCERTs. But regardless of that , if your schooling has been good and you have good command over your subjects then it ahoush not be hard for you score the proposed marks of 90-100. But you will definitely face problem in the English part of the question paper because they sometimes ask questions based on the 12th grade literature books of CBSE, which gets hard for a non CBSE student to tackle it but the rest can be done quite easily.

The syllabus of VITEEE 2019 comprises of the topics of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.  The questions in the exam are based on the syllabus of 10+2 level as prescribed by the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and the CBSE.
