Yes, It is completely fine to choose software engineer as a career option after class 12th.

Becoming a software engineer is not a difficult task but to become a successful software engineer in the future will really need your strong interest and dedication towards computers. Throughout your 11th and 12th read computer science with complete dedication and interest. This two years will help you to build your fundamentals from ground.
