I wish to land in a central govt. job, if i take ECE from cusat what are the things i should do to achieve my goal, like what after ECE?

Well as per my perspective you can easily get a government job after completing your B.Tech from ECE. It has a good scope in future.

Roles might vary from company to company. However, below are companies with good positions and salaries.

• DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization)
• BEL (Bharat Electronics Ltd.)
• BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Center)
• ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization)
• BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.)
• HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.)
• ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Ltd.)
• SAIL (Steel Authority of India Ltd.)
• NTPC (National Thermal Power Corporation)
• BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electrical Ltd.)
• IES (Indian Engineering Services)

All these government  PSUs hire engineering graduates through GATE score. Youve to be in at least top 500 to apply for a job in these companies. Theyre top and most prestigious institutions of India to be worked in.



IES, DRDO, BARC, ISRO, BSNL do have their own exams. Keep looking at their websites for job notifications.



But as per your interest in higher studies you can go for the course given below and then go for the job opportunities :
