After a rigorous 3/4/5 years of Graduation, it is always ideal to take a break for anything between 1-3 years and gain some work experience before you finally move on for Postgraduation or pursue MBA. You will also get some time to prepare well for the Entrance exam and can perform your best.
However, that only applies if you have a Job in your hand (On/Off Campus), Research Associate or Project Assistantship offer, Campus Recruitment Offer or perhaps a good GATE score to fetch you a Job in PSUs. In case you have neither of the above, it is perferred you prepare for Management Examinations and try getting into a Good B-School this year itself.
