I would like to pursue a career in nuclear science. However since nuclear eng. is not a very popular course, i haven't found many colleges that offer the B.tech or BE course. If i take up chemical or mechanical engineering in B.tech, will there be a problem in continuing with the M.tech course?
hi,
see you can pursue m.tech in nuclear engineering after completing your degree course on ee/ece/mechanical or chemical engineering, or if you take bsc courses of 4 years, however since nuclear engineering is a interdisciplinary course, there is no many college offers b.tech on nuclear engineering. however the placement scenario is for m.tech in nuclear engineering is good in iits, however if you are interested for research oriented field, you should go for ms in abroad university, since their labs and experimental technology works is better than indian university.
hello,
hope you are doing well ,the basic eligibility criteria to pursue mtech in nuclear engineering is candidates must have done b.tech/BE in mechanical/chemical/electrical/electronics/EEE/EIE/ECE ,mechatronics ,or BSC in physics from a recognised institute or university with an minimum aggregate of 60%
good lcuk!
