Start your preparation as early as possible as you have only a year left with you. you must follow SK Mondal notes , you can get it in google. Its very helpful for gate preparation.
Make a descent study schedule, and go through nptel lectures and notes , they are very comprehensive and covers most of the GATE syllabus. At last, go through the previous years papers, to get an exact outline of the paper.
