Yes you can study Marine biology to get into a profession of Marine science. The UG course is Bsc Marine Biology. The basic eligibility for the course is that you must qualify class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects and have obtained a minimum of 50%.
After UG you can go for higher studies, MSc. Marine biology, MPhill Marine Biology and PhD Marine biology.

Other than Bsc you can go for Btech in Marine Engineering, The basic eligibility is qualifying class 12th in science stream.
The admission is based on entrance exam.
