Dear Sir/Ma'm, if you are passionate about cracking the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and you know you can do it if you study well, there is always the option of dropping one year and preparing sincerely for NEET and AIIMS. As 70% of the people who crack NEET are second timers.

Hi rupendra,

It is definitely not necessary to drop a year and give aiims, neet. Right now,  one thing you can do is just start preparing for these exams. You have an idea of how much portion you must have completed and how much still remains. So first one or two months, focus on finishing your portion. Understand concepts, clear doubts, learn the methods, practise. After two months, along with completing portion, you need to start practicing neet like mcq questions. Join classes for test series or crash courses. You have one year in your hand. Ie atleast 300 days. Even if you put in 4 hours of study everyday you can squeeze out 1200 hours of study which is enough according to me. Don't put your self down by saying you will take a drop and then study. This will make you not work hard and then definitely you won't crack neet or aiims. Taking a drop is not an easy task. It gets lonely, frustrating, difficult. So I would suggest that you give it with your college rather than taking a drop for it
