depends on you what you want to do after engineering if you want to do a simple job then you go for a job if you want a higher package or a higher facility or opportunity then you should do to  a 3 year course like MSc MBA Mtech graphic designing anything you want you can do if you want to go abroad for higher studies you can go so it's upon you what you want to do you want job basically you can go but further qualification can increase your demand and post and your requirements

After completion of your B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, you can go for further studies or for a job.

If you are interested in further studies you can go for M.Tech in the particular branch for gaining more knowledge and experience. Then even the job opportunities for you will be more in number compared to a B.Tech graduate.

If you are not interested for further studies you can go for job. But in the initial stage you might be awarded lesser salary. Gaining experience will increase your salary.

Hello,

If you want to earn good amount of money then i would suggest you to write gate and other exams like IES through which you can get very good jobs in PSUs ang earn good money and if you don't get high score in gate but get good enough score to go into IITs and if your financial status is good then go for higher studies i.e for m.tech in any IITs and after 2 years you will get a good job.

If your parents are willing to send you abroad and if you can really work very hard you can even go for higher studies in abroad.

If you don't feel that you cannot study more then you could join in the companies through college placements

Hope this helps
