Iam confusing about civil r electrical engineering in BTech which best
Hi aspirant,
I hope you know at least what these branches deal with. These are completely unrelated branches.
Civil:
Deals with design, maintenance, and construction of a physically or naturally built environment. It involves planning, constructing, designing, supervising and maintaining infrastructures like bridge, pipelines, highways, school, hospital, etc.
Electrical:
Deals with the study, design, and application of devices which use electricity, electromagnetism, and electronics.
As far as placement is considered, Electrical engineering has a slight edge over Civil Engg. Both these branches do not have huge initial pay after graduation. To get a decent salary you have to either crack GATE or go for higher studies.
All the best
Hello there. It's not like if any stream is best or not. It all depend on your interest and passion. Choosing any stream always depends on how you want to see yourself after completing your studies.
Coming up with civil and electrical engineering, both the stream have their own way of doing the things. If you are interested in learning about construction, building new infrastructure, designing various day to day requirement then you can go toward civil engineering.
If you are interested in looking out for electrical appliances, looking out for motors, want to study about current and power supply, then you can go for electrical engineering. All the process which take place at high voltage i.e. 220V are being considered in electrical engineering.
So it's your own ambition that where you want to see yourself after completing the degree.
