The entrance examination paper is generally divided into three parts.

Part A is to check your plagiarism skills. You’re given a passage and you have to answer 6 questions from them but the catch is you cannot copy any word. (30 marks)

Part B is to check your research/analytic skills. There are 6 questions of which you have to answer one. And these questions are not specifically history related only. So remember to do a proper analysis for this question. I would say that it’s important for you to attend this question properly. You will know why once you are in CHS. (20 marks)

Part C has a set of 10 questions of which you are to answer 2. They’re all history related questions and most of them are Indian History based. I would suggest that you attend the questions of the stream you have chosen. Mostly read Romila Thapar and Ranabir Chakravarti and a couple of articles by Uma Chakravarti and Kumkum Roy. So do the due diligence and find articles and books which you can read for your stream.
