Yes, you can study Diploma in Engineering Telangana state in a Government Institute even if you belong to Andhra Pradesh. To get admission to Diploma in Engineering you must appear for TS POLYCET. You will be considered as non-local and seat will be allotted under unreserved category. The eligibility criteria to apply for TS POLYCET is that you must have passed SSC examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana with a minimum aggregate of 35% marks and must have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects. You must be a citizen of India. You must be a resident of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. There is no age limit.

You will be eligible to get fee reimbursement from Government of Andhra Pradesh if you fulfill the following eligibility criteria

1.The annual income of the family must  be less than or equal to Rs.2.50 lakhs.

2. The total land holding of the family should be less than 10.00 acres of wet or 25 acres of dry or 25 acres both wet and dry land together.

3. No member of the family should be a government employee/ pensioner (all sanitary workers irrespective of their salary/ recruitment, are eligible subject to satisfying the other eligibility conditions, except 1 and 6

4. No member of the family should own a four wheeler (Taxies/Tractors/Autos are exempted).

5.  A family who owns no property or less than 1500 Sft of built up area (Residential or Commercial) in urban areas is eligible.

6. No member of the family should be an income tax payee.

7.You must have taken admission under convener quota through Entrance Examination.

The fee reimbursement will be offered by Government of Andhra Pradesh if you are native of Andhra Pradesh provided at least 4 years study of student in the last 7 years prior to the qualifying examination (class 10th) should be completed in AP. If the 4 years study of student is in Telangana you should should apply through Telangana website, and Telangana Govt should sponsor the scholarship. To apply for fee reimbursement you must belong to SC/ST/BC/EBC/KAPU/MINORITY/ DIFFERENTLY ABLED category.
