Your gap year should be substantiated i.e. you should have an answer to what you have done during those two years and since you are a btech dropout, this question will be more emphasized upon during your interviews. Doing MBA or MA won't cover up that problem. You will still face the same set of questions during your GD-PI rounds. So try to build up your resume in a differentiated way that would give you an edge over the other job applicants. Also, that would give a message to the recruiters that you have the quality to turn the tables even after taking a risk and convert a lost game into a winning one. Hope you are getting my point.
