iam working and I did diploma 27 years back. Now I wanted to do B. E by distance education. is it possible? iam 56 years old

To ease your burden let me inform you that
open Universities, distance Education programs and evening Colleges do not put bars on the upper age limit.
Having said that you should also acknowledge that these courses are restricted to a very few streams of Science, Commerce and Arts.
Undergraduate distance education programs,requires you to qualify Pre-University/ Second year Foundation Programme/ Higher Secondary / Three year Diploma/ I.T.I.(after passed 10th Standard) or an equivalent examination. A diploma in a relevant discipline will prove worthy.

Moreover students are advised to be punctual but attendance is not mandatory .
So you can manage your time well.

Hello,
There is no age limit for higher distance education.
The eligiblty criteria for B.tech in IGNOU requires an applicant to have completed a 3-year diploma course from an approved and accredited Polytechnic University.Since, you have completed diploma you can apply for distance education in B.tech.
