iam working as a software engineer, I have interest to study law. But I don't know whome should I have contact, possible to study part time
Hi there,
Thank you for considering our platform to clear your query.
The Bar Council of India doesn't recognizes part time law degrees or open school law degrees.
To become a law practitioner in India there are two ways. You can either write CLAT or LLB entrance exams of various universities.
CLAT is for students who haven't comolecom their graduation or for students who have only passed Class XII recently.
As you are a working software engineer, apparently, you are a successful graduate. Hence to become a lawyer you can write the LLB entrance exams of various universities like Delhi University, Maharashtra University, Banaras Hindu University, Osmania University, Allahabad University etc. These universities offer a full time 3 year course in legal studies recognized by the Bar Council of India. On completing the course you will be hettget the degree of LLB after which you will have to write the qualifying exam of The Bar Council of India to become a member of the BCI, a licilice lawyer having the permit of practicing all over the country.
I'm attaching the link of DU LLB entrance examination details for further reference:

Hope that answers your question.
All the best!
