IBS Hyderabad is a good institute for pursuing MBA and what about the fees, placements and other details?
Dear Aspirant, reviews for ICFAI Business School (IBS) for MBA is not good. IBS students reviewed that the college has poor hostel facility, uneducated security, crappiest college, money sucking college and also the faculty members are not so friendly. So, I would suggest you not to get admitted there. I hope you are clear now. Feel free to ask if you have any other doubts. All The Best for your future.
HI aspirant,
- I will let you know about pros and cons of the institute so that you can make your decision.
Cons
- Batch size: Its huge for a MBA college. It usually include 1200 students. It makes hard for the faculties to focus on students.
- Faculty: Very few faculties are there who teach good. So be prepared to learn by yourself rather that depending too much on faculties.
- Standard of students: They compromise on the quality of the students they take in which reflects badly on placements. They should have a rigorous admission process.
- Fees: Too high for the average package they provide.
Pros
- Club activities: More than 32 clubs to choose from. Clubs are good place for freshers to know how to work in teams and achieving a goal in a given time.
- Campus Infrastructure: Almost 100 acre campus. Lots of trees, Gym, Separate rooms for students, Swimming pool. Very good Library and collection of books.
- Placements: College provides with opportunities and it's up to the students to grab it. If you ask someone who didn't get placed will say that placements sucks. All I can say is college brings in lot companies and the average package revolves around 6.5 to 7.5 lakhs per annum. This is CTC. Its up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd.
IBS Hyderabad is a Tier 2 college. Keep that in mind before joining. Don't have huge expectations about ROI. And don't whine after joining college.
Qualifying exams: IBSAT/ CAT/ GMAT or NMAT
- Graduation in any discipline with 50% aggregate or above from English medium
- 15 years of education (on 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis)
- Those in their final year of bachelor’s degree can also apply
fee structure 14.14 lakhs for 2 years
Make a good decision.
All the best:)
