Dear Tejas, IC Engineers create automated systems. Because this is mostly into production, IC Engineers are required in almost every sector like Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Automotive industries, etc. Given this fact, employment opportunities are huge for IC Engineers. And as there are very few colleges offering this course, you can imagine the demand for this stream. And regarding the cut off, it depends on various factors like the intensity of the exam and the no. of candidates attending the exam.
