Information and communication technology *ICT) is a subject which broadly deals with the technical support strata of the IT company. It helps understand students the working of IT company and how shall one go about it. So for anyone planning a career in technical support, ICT is a good option.
However PDPU being a specialist college in Petro-Chemical engineering, I would recommend you to opt for some other institute if you wish to be a part of the IT industry.
CSE at VIT chennai is unquestionably prestigious and a good option if you wish to be in core IT i.e developer, tester, DBA, Network adminstrator,etc.
Also, the placements at VIT Chennai are great and companies like TCS, Infosys,Wipro come to the college for placements.
