Dear Aspirant, if A and B are two events, then the probability of the occurance if either or both of them is given by P(A U B) = P(A) + P( B ) - P(A Π B )..... For the current to flow, the fuse C must remain intact- the event C- and the fuse A or fuse B or both must remain intact - the event A U B .
