Correct Answer: 610 m


Solution : Given: A distance of 50 m is covered in 1 minute, 90 m in 2 minutes, and 130 m in 3 minutes.
Distance covered in first minute = 50 m
Distance covered till 2 minutes = 90 m
So distance covered in 2nd minute = (90 – 50) = 40 m
Also, the distance covered till 2 minutes = 130 m
So distance covered in 3rd minute = (130 – 90) = 40 m
This forms an arithmetic progression with first term = 50 and common difference = 40
Then the total distance covered in 15 minutes = 50 + (40 × 14) = 610 m
Hence, the correct answer is 610 m.
