If a Indian Surgeon in Graduated in the United States, what will be his Salary in India?
Raja, no matter where a Medical Professional has graduated from, when he/she comes to practise in India, he/she has to have his/her license first. Post that, his/her starting salary will be always less. When you hear about Medical Professionals earning in Lakhs, it doesn't meant that they over night graduated from a Medical Professional to lakh earning professional No, it takes years of experience, less mortality rate and years of practise to be where they are today. The geographic location also needs to be considered. A Surgeon in the urban areas earns more than a Surgeon in the rural areas. Having said all this, if we have to put a number out there, given the current trend, it will be around Rs. 25,000.
It entirely depends on the the hospital the doctor is working in and the number of patients he handles. If the surgeon is best among his colleagues,so his salary will be high as compared to others. Generally, the salary is generally around 12 lakhs to 15 lakhs per month or above.
Hope this helps you.
Good luck.
