Hello,
I would like to tell you that if one person clears JEE MAINS and does not attempt JEE ADVANCED then he will lose that chance to get into IIT/NIT.
He/She would then have to apply again for JEE MAINS nect year , clear it and then appear for JEE ADVANCED.
As per the age limit for JEE ADVANCED, there isn't one and for the number of attempts, a candidate will geta maximum of two attempts in consecutive years to appear for JEE Advanced.
There are many other eligibilty criteria as well along with the above one and you can find them on the careers360's link given below.
The link for the same is: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-eligibility-criteria
Hope this helps and all the very best!
Hello Purbayan,
If someone qualifies for JEE ADV and fill the application form for JEE ADV then he/she appear for it or not it will be counted as an attempt. But if you do not fill the application form of JEE ADV then it will not be counted as an attempt.
Now, coming to the attemp limit : you can attempt JEE ADV only two times in consecutive years.
About the age limit, previously it was 25 years, but supreme court changed the rule and from this year even students older than 25 year can also apply for JEE ADV. So, from this time their is no as such age limit but yes their is limit on number of attempts.
