If a person is able to score around 60-65 in previous year papers and around 40-45 in gate mock test series will it be able to score 55-60

There is one big difference between the previous years questions and the mock tests the previous years questions are the questions which you have come across at many times in your preparation because the study material you follow the coaching classes if you go the all study material is framed in a way to consider that the questions asked in GATE previous years can be solved therefore it is not a good strategy to judge your preparation level by appearing for the previous years question you can estimate your preparation level by only mock test therefore if you're scoring around 40 to 45 then this may be the your final score but since mock tests are little bit higher and difficulty level there for your score may be higher
