if a person lost his original certificates. how to get the certificates from the board of he studied and is their any soultion?
Hi
As per your request If you would like to urge duplicate certificates,
(You won't get discriminated for having duplicate certificates mostly anywhere.)
First, you ought to file a written complaint for locating the missing certificates. Don't miss to say any of
the certificates name therein complaint. After every week or two (this is really for police to look for the
certificate as per the evidences you provide) police will provide "Non traceable" certificate with list of
certificates lost as stated in your complaint. If you're not from Chennai, attempt to get "Non traceable"
certificate from your nearest police headquarters as it's of no use. Tell them you've lost it from the
closest bus stand within their jurisdiction. Police isn't getting to look for your certificates unless there's a
hope and evidence with influence.
For duplicates certificate , you want to send form to respective institutions as per the procedure. I did
lose only engineering mark sheets and that i had to send request to "Anna university, controller of
examinations". I got form and attestation from my college.
Application form, charges and guidelines are going to be available on respective institution's website
(just google it,sample: INSTRUCTION to urge DUPLICATE CERTIFICATE) and follow it. It's tedious, though.
But inevitable.
Srinu, the process is that you should file a FIR in the Police Station that you have lost the documents. You will be given a copy of that FIR. Now there is a proforma that is available on the Boards' official website for applying for new set of Certificates. You need to download that, fill in the details, pay the required amount in DD and attach this copy of FIR and send it across to the mentioned address. This process is the same for 10th, 12th and Graduation as well.
It would be helpful for us to answer your query if you mention the Board of education you are from.
However, firstly, you need to file an FIR. This will help if you can get back your original certificates. Else, almost all the board of Educations, provide a criteria to generate duplicate certificates in this case. So, you can apply for it.
Kindly mention the question with detail to know more about the process.
Hope you understand.
Good luck!
