If a seat is alloted in first round but not of your choice in jossa counsilling... In that case you don't have to report at the reporting centre, you have to go only if you want the seat to finalize it. I am not sure if there is a rule of reporting to the college compulsorily, at least in my case there wasn't. All the best!
Yes you have to report for verification for the participation in further rounds otherwise you will be not eligible for future rounds.
And go till 6 the rounds and in between you get your desired seat you can freeze it otherwise after 6 th round you will have option to withdraw .
And than you can take part in spot round.
You should read the business rule book or PDF given on the main site of josaa
Good luck
Yes you have to report to the counselling reporting centre for the seat acceptance of the college through jee main. If you don't get your desired college seat, then choose the float option in the first counseling center and if you will come in the merit list in the next 6 rounds then you will get your college.
All the best for counseling
