Actually I got the news that for now all the candidates are eligible for filling application form of NEET as per announced by Delhi High Court. It includes NIOS, age relaxation matter, year gap, Biology as additional subject and others. The final announcement that these candidates are eligible for appearing the exam will be decided on 16th April 2018. According to the decission from High Court ,you are eligible to apply for NEET 2018 the final decission regarding this will be clear after the final hearing at 16th of march.

According to the latest rules, the NIOS students are allowed to appear for NEET as the orders passed by Delhi High Court on 26th February and 28th February. Qualification Eligibility Criteria for NEET UG is 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized Board; candidates from NIOS Board are ineligible - Gap year between Class 11 and 12 is not permitted.
So, I am sorry to say but NIOS or Open Board Students are eligible for NEET UG.
