The fees mentioned as total, is the fees a student should pay for the entire UG program. Students are required to pay their fees in a periodic manner only. Though the college has fixed a total fee, they provide semester wise fee details to the students upon admission. So the total fee is divided into equal parts and the parts should be paid by the student within the end of each semester or by each year.
For example, if the college asks 3 Lakh as a total fee for the completion of Bsc program in some stream. This doesn't mean that the 3lakh should be paid by the students in the first year itself. The student may be asked to pay in an yearly manner as 1 lakh every year. Some institutes allow their students to pay it in semester wise. In such cases, the student should pay 50,000 before the end of the each semester.
If the student fails to pay his/her fee, then the hall ticket for the particular semester may not be provided and it may negatively impact the student's academics as he/she may not be able to write his/her semester examination.
