Hello,
As you said you want to drop after 1st year in BDS to prepare for the NEET UG exam to get into MBBS. So, you have to pay the full term fees whether it be private or government or deemed college because the seat you will leave will not be occupied by anyone as the counseling will be over by then. This will be a loss to the college, so you have to pay full fees for BDS.
Hope your doubts are cleared. Thank you.
Hope you are doing well.
If you are preparing for Mbbs and you want to leave BDS, then you have to pay the seat leaving bond signed by you at the time of your admission.
The bond is different for different colleges.
If you would have tell the name of your college, I would be able to provide more information about that.
In many colleges, you just have to pay the bond and not full course fee. But in some, you have to pay the bond money along with the full course fee.
Bond money generally lied from 2 lakhs to 10 lakhs.
Further I am providing you some links regarding, how to prepare for neet and you can also know about your admission chances based on your neet score, rank, state etc.
