Hello aspirant, The answer to this question is no. Both of these areas require your complete commitment and dedication. You can not manage both of these together. Also it is not allowed to do any other profession while performing duties as a IAS officer. If you want to practice medical profession then you have to leave your job.
Thank you
Hope it helps you.
Hello,
As an IAS officer, you cannot simultaneously work as a doctor or practice any other profession while in service. IAS officers are bound by the All India Services (Conduct) Rules, which prohibit them from engaging in any other profession or employment without government approval.
The salary and financial benefits you receive will solely come from your position as an IAS officer, funded by the government.
If you wish to practice as a doctor, you would need to resign from the IAS, as dual professional roles are not allowed under the rules governing civil services in India.
Hope it helps !
