JoSAA counselling and JAC counselling are two independent counselling. You can participate in both the counselling processes if you fulfill the eligibility criteria. The schedule, fee structure, rules and regulations are different for these two counselling processes. If you get seat in JAC first phase counselling then if you wish to withdraw the seat secured in JAC counselling you have to withdraw the seat on or before November 3, 2021 (upto 11:59 PM). If you do not withdraw the seat you will not get the refund amount that you paid. First phase of JAC counselling consists or 4 rounds. So you need to withdraw the seat on or before November 3, 2021 (upto 11:59 PM). Meanwhile you can register for JoSAA counselling as the registration process will start from October 16, 2021. The option to withdraw the seat in JoSAA counselling will be available from second round of counselling. And the last day to withdraw the seat allotted in round 2 is November 5, 2021 by 5 PM. So you have to keep track of the schedule of JAC counselling and JoSAA counselling and then make a decision. You can find the schedule on the respective official websites
