Hii Tapasya,

There is no medium barrier for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test or the CTET Exam. So, you are absolutely eligible for appear Exam. The question paper is available in both English as well as Hindi language.

Moving forward to the paper pattern- Paper I (Primary level) for classes 1th to 5th and Paper-II (Elementary Level) for classes 6th to 8th. The entire exam is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen paper based manner and the duration of the exam remains 2 hours 30 minutes and the aspirants are bound to complete the paper in this time limit only.

So, in a nutshell there is no problem regarding medium, time limit and paper pattern. Aspirants of both the medium.

Hope this answer serves as a help, prepare well for the exam. Do your best.

Wishing you all the luck!

Hello aspirant,

Yes, an aspirant who has studied from a Hindi medium can also give the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) because the medium of instruction i.e., the question paper is available in both English as well as Hindi. The CTET consists of two papers- Paper I (Primary Stage) and Paper-II (Elementary Stage). CTET Paper-I exam is administered for aspirants who want to become teachers for class I to V. And CTET Paper-II exam is administered for aspirants who want to become teachers for class VI to VIII. The entrance test is administered in offline mode (pen-paper based) for the aspirants. The duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes and the aspirants have to answer the questions within the recommended time duration.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
