See it is all ok if you were not prepared and did not appeared for the JEE main 2021 examination but it is important for you to note that the current eligibility criteria set up by National testing agency says that a candidate can appear for JEE main examination in three consecutive you starting from the year the candidate appeared for the intermediate level examination. So your one out of three attempts got over even if you did not appear for the paper
Now going along the defined criteria you can now appear for the JEE main in years 2022 and 2023 only. Also you now have only 1 attempt left for JEE advance examination that is in year 2022.

JEE main is conducted for admission in top enginnering colleges. If you have appeared for 12 rh in 2021 , then you must appear for JEE main 2022 which most probably will take place in February. You still have more than 1 month to prepare for it. You must study all the most asked questions of class 11 chapter. For this ,make a schedule , practice previous year question of JEE main class 11 chapters. There are many toppers who secure good rank by studying with dedication even in one month.
You must appear for JEE main 2022 instead of wasting one year again.
